About us
The association is based in Łódź. It was registered in 2004. It undertakes initiatives which aim at promoting tourist attractions as well as facilitating the activity and development of companies in the widely understood tourism and recreation sector. Modern marketing-IT tools are used in promoting tourist attractions and projects:
- Design professional promotional strategies that allow the information to reach the widest audience, both local as well as national and international.
- Act as an intermediary in contacts with the press and the electronic media - organises conferences, briefings and presentations.
- Creates and manages information systems on Polish tourist attractions.
- Arranges contacts and meetings of representatives from tourism companies with people and institutions responsible for the tourism policy on the local and state level.
- Presents applications, opinions and statements relating to the activity of Polish tourist attractions and the development of tourism to the appropriate authorities and institutions.
In Poland, the association cooperates with social and economic organisations, whose objective is to develop the local and supra-regional communities, and above all with regional and local tourist agencies and organisations. It also cooperates with charity organisations and foundations working for the benefit of the local communities and for the development of the regions’ tourist attractiveness.
The Association’s objective is also to enable cooperation and sharing of experience between the representatives of tourist attractions and the employees of that sector. In order to attain this goal, it organises:
- Training, consultations and counselling
- Study tours in Poland and abroad
- Orientation, recreational and culture-education parties
